With Holy Week so close, and nearly ready to celebrate Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem, Lent still want to teach us some important lessons. One of those is that we must always open our hearts and minds to the wonders of God’s care for us and His willingness to work in and through us. This whole Lenten season has been an invitation to carefully watch the works which Jesus has performed and still performs – and then hear Him say “Follow me!” His words and deeds, after all, are the clearest sign of who God is and how God works.
May our faith and our willingness to follow Jesus’ example be firm and unquestioned in the days ahead. We know well all that Jesus has done to save us. May we be found with grateful minds and hearts that he has made us children of God and called us to give a living testimony to God’s goodness.

Tan cerca a la Semana Santa, listos para celebrar la entrada triunfal de Jesús en Jerusalén, la Cuaresma nos quiere recordar, una vez más, que tenemos que estar abiertos de corazón y mente. Es condición necesaria para interpretar las obras de Jesús (y las obras de nuestros hermanos y hermanas) y reconocer la presencia del amor y la misericordia de Dios en ellas. Que nuestra fe en Jesús, el Señor, sea firme e inquebrantable. Sabemos muy bien lo mucho que Él ha hecho por nosotros, cómo aguantó la contradicción, cómo sufrió y murió por nosotros. Él, el Hijo amado de Dios hecho hombre, nos ha hecho hijos e hijas del Padre.
Oremos. “Padre, tú eres un Dios leal, siempre fiel a tus promesas. Robustece nuestra fe, para que, con Jesús, sigamos siempre confiando en ti, especialmente durante de los días que vienen. Otórganos la firme convicción
de que tú estás irrevocablemente comprometido con nosotros, en Jesucristo, nuestro Señor. Amén.”
