Vacation Bible School

“To be understood as to understand,
To be loved as to love, For it is in giving that we receive. . .”

Vacation Bible School at Holy Cross Parish!

What is Vacation Bible School?

Each summer, our community spends a week with children, teens, and adults in song, crafts, games, acting, and prayer as we learn about our Catholic faith. Children are in small groups led by our amazing teens and they move through stations during our mornings, experiencing Christ in music, crafts, games, and story. We learn passages from the Bible, we meet new saints each day, and we grow closer to one another as we build our community.

Last summer's Vacation Bible School ran from July 8 to 12, 2019. Our theme for the week was Jesus and the Holy Heroes! (Super hero themed!)

It was an amazing week! We learned that Christian heroes in training need faith, hope, courage, charity, and LOVE! Check out our superheroes in training:

THANK YOU to the adults and teens who helped make this week possible! They gave of their time and their love to share the week with our amazing children!
