The Lord says, “My plans for you are peace and not disaster; when you call to me, I will listen to you.” Jeremiah 29, 11-12
Let us pray. “God of power and mercy, you destroy war and put down earthly pride. Banish, we beg you, violence from our midst and wipe away our tears for our nation. You are the maker of peace, to know you is to live, and to serve you is to reign with you. All our faith today is in your saving help. Protect us from men of violence and keep us safe from the weapons of hate. We ask this through Christ our Lord.”

Autor y amante de la paz, ya que conocerte es vivir y servirte es reinar contigo, protege de toda hostilidad a quienes te lo suplican, para que, confiando en tu protección, no temamos las armas de ningún enemigo.
