Can you imagine this conversation?
Me: I’ve been thinking about how much there is to be known in life, in the universe. And how little of that I truly know.
God: You have no idea how little you know – and how much you will never know.
Me: Am I that ignorant?
God: About many things – yes! But consider what you do know: you know that I am God; you know that I know you; you know that I love you; you know that I will always be with you; you know what I ask of you; you know I forgive you; and you know I want you to get to know me more and more and more.
Me: What about all the other stuff I know – and all the other stuff I will never know?
God: Everything you know that leads you to me is awesome! Anything else … don’t worry about it.
Me: You know, I think I know what you mean.
God: So, let’s work on getting to know each other much better. Are you willing to start right now?
