October 25 – November 2: All Souls Novena

We have begun our parish’s All Souls Novena. Please join us as we pray for the faithful who have gone before us.

“All-holy God, you call us, your people to holiness. As we keep the festival of your saints and remember all souls, give us meekness and poverty of spirit, a thirst for righteousness, and a purity of heart. May we and our loved ones share with the saints  the richness of your kingdom and be clothed in the glory you bestow.

Please hear our petitions for those who have gone before us: our family members, those who have died this year, those who have died in military service, those who have died with no one to pray for them, those who have died before they were born, those who have died at the hands of others, those who have died accidently, all clergy and Religious, and those who have died today.

Lord, you are always faithful and quick to show mercy. Come just as swiftly to the aid of the dead, have mercy on them, and comfort their families and friends by the power and protection of the Cross. Grant this through Christ our Lord. Amen.”
