Today’s Memorial on the Church’s calendar reminds us (and invites us to celebrate) that God’s grace is active in our lives, similar to the way His grace was active in the life of Mary. We fittingly remember that, like a loving mother, Mary sees every step we take to follow her Son and she wants to help us! So, we do well to ask for her prayers so that we might imitate her loving, pure, and Immaculate heart more closely.
Let us pray. “O God, who prepared a fit dwelling place for your love in our world in the Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary, graciously grant that through her intercession we may be faithful followers of your Son and worthy temples of your glory. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with you forever and ever. Amen.”
