Updates

Mask use in our parish church is optional but recommended. Masks are recommended in order to protect the more vulnerable in our community, like children and those with compromised immunities. If you are sick in any way or even feeling a little “under the weather,” please stay home! Our concern is for your good health and the good health of those in the pews around you. Thank you.

What's Happening

September 30: Preparing to Celebrate Sunday’s Mass

One of the customs in our parish is that we do not stray from the truth when we gather to worship. We do not do anything “fake” when we are in church. So, we do not allow plastic flowers, we do not allow pre-recorded music, and we burn beeswax candles (not battery-powered lights). These might […]

His name means ‘Who is like God?’ The implicit answer is that, of […]

September 28: The Enormous Gift He Has Given Us

“Christ is reserved in our churches as the spiritual center of the heart of the community, the universal Church and all humanity, since within the veil of the species, Christ is contained, the invisible heart of the Church, the Redeemer of the world, the center of all hearts, by whom all things are and of […]

St. Vincent de Paul was born in France to poor parents in 1581. At a young age, he showed talent in reading and writing so his parents sold their family oxen to send him to the seminary. St. Vincent became a priest at the age of 19. In 1605, St. Vincent was traveling when he […]
