Holy Cross Church is eager to be a part of your life and have you as a part of our life. We are committed to growing in the likeness of Jesus Christ, a daily process that requires prayer, sacraments, discipline and a community of individuals striving for the same goal.

Updates

Mask use in our parish church is optional but recommended. Masks are recommended in order to protect the more vulnerable in our community, like children and those with compromised immunities. If you are sick in any way or even feeling a little “under the weather,” please stay home! Our concern is for your good health and the good health of those in the pews around you. Thank you.

What's Happening

May 7: First Communion Masses

Starting today, Holy Cross parish will celebrate First Communion Masses on three consecutive Saturdays. We congratulate the many children who will be joining us at the Table of the Lord for the first time. Also, we thank their catechists for sacrificing so much to teach them so well! Please keep our “candidates” and their teachers […]

May 6: The Resurrection is Real

Sr. Margaret Mary was teaching the Catechism to eager 3rd-graders when one asked her if she would teach them to pray. She showed her hands and said the first thing to learn was: it was important to pray with both hands. She showed the children how to spread out their five fingers on their left […]

May 5: New Light, New Beginnings

In the post-Resurrection accounts in the Bible, we are reminded that Jerusalem was recognized as the place where the sacred tradition of Moses was preserved. That tradition was zealously defended by the central governing body of Judaism. Yet, Jerusalem, its leaders, and a great many of its inhabitants violently rejected Jesus and His first disciples. […]
