Parents’ Association

“To be understood as to understand,
To be loved as to love, For it is in giving that we receive. . .”

About

All parents automatically belong to the Holy Cross Catholic School Parents’ Club. Your support and commitment to the Parents’ Club enriches and strengthens the school through the time and talent of our many school families.

The Parents’ Club goal is to support the overall mission and philosophy of the school. In addition, the Parents’ Club raises money for two purposes. First, it makes an annual donation to the school which helps the school keep tuition as affordable as possible for families. Second, the Parents’ Club uses additional funds to provide activities and support to the school that are not in the school budget.

The Parents' Club hosted the Bring your Supplies to School BBQ and Potluck and 1st day of school donuts and coffee for parents. In addition, the Parents' Club paid for iPads for most of the teachers. In recent years, the Parents’ Club paid for the padding on the school playground, provided for an Artist in Residence from the University of Portland, and celebrated the end of the school year with a BBQ for all the students.

The Parents Association is looking forward to another great year at Holy Cross. There are lots of exciting changes happening with regard to the Parents Association this year which we want to share with you.

The website has information about all the wonderful community and fundraising events sponsored by the Parents Association as well as a list of volunteer opportunities and a calendar. Second, the Parent's Association is excited to provide a newsletter which will be emailed and sent home each month. The newsletter will provide need-to-know specifics for any upcoming fundraisers and/or community events and much, much more! We hope that you find these resources valuable and utilize them regularly.
