After School Care

“To be understood as to understand,
To be loved as to love, For it is in giving that we receive. . .”
~ from The Prayer of Saint Francis

Holy Cross Catholic School is excited to announce that beginning in September 2018, we will be running the after-school program ourselves under the leadership of Mrs. Keola Morley.  Mrs. Morley is a former parent at the school and an active parishioner. Last year Mrs. Morley was an aide in the 2nd-grade classroom and in the upcoming school year she will be one of the aides in the PreK classroom.  She also worked for several years at St. Agatha's school, including their after-school care program, and is involved in many community organizations, including the Roosevelt High School PTA. Mrs. Morley loves children and is well respected by the teachers and staff at the school.  Mrs. Morley will begin working with me to hire additional aides for the after-school program to ensure high-quality care that is supportive and fun for students.
Running our own after-school care program will allow us to maintain consistent expectations for our students and the continuation of a warm, nurturing environment. We will continue to provide similar hours of care, including early dismissal days.  We are working with the Office of Child Care on certification for the program.
The fee schedule is currently being determined and it will not be more than the cost of Vermont Hills. We will have registration forms for the program by mid-August. If you are interested in having your child in the after-school care program, please email Eva Campbell at
