Mask use in our parish church is optional but recommended. Masks are recommended in order to protect the more vulnerable in our community, like children and those with compromised immunities. If you are sick in any way or even feeling a little “under the weather,” please stay home! Our concern is for your good health and the good health of those in the pews around you. Thank you.

The Church today honors St. Cyril of Alexandria. He was an Egyptian bishop and theologian, best known for his role in the Council of Ephesus, where the Church confirmed that Christ is both God and man in one person. La celebración en honor del Inmaculado Corazón de María está vinculada muy de cerca con la solemnidad del Sagrado Corazón de Jesús, celebrada el día anterior, ayer. No es así por mero accidente. Today’s Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary uses a “devotional name” which refers to the interior life of the Blessed Virgin Mary: her joys and sorrows, her virtues and hidden perfections, and above all, her love for God the Father, her maternal love for her son Jesus, and her compassionate love for all persons. […]
