When we lift our problems up to God, we must also be willing to offer ourselves to Him. This includes everything that we are and everything that we have – as well as all our plans, hopes, and dreams.
How many times do the Scriptures remind us “worry not” about what tomorrow will bring? There is no use fretting about things that may or may not come. We don’t need that unnecessary stress. Instead, our hope has to be to surrender our days to the Lord and let Him take charge of our tomorrows.
Let us pray. “Lord our God, help us to “abandon” ourselves into your care. Help us to let go of our expectations and everything that is holding us back from you. Help us let go of the reins of our lives and submit to you. Help us put our lives in your loving hands and trust in your every promise. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.”
