Thank you Fr. William (Bill) Hund, CSC! For the past many years, Fr. Bill has offered two weekday Masses here in our parish, in order to give Fr. Mark and our former (late) pastor Fr. John Wironen a day and half off each week. We are deeply grateful for Fr. Bill’s patience, humble service, and generous care for our parish community.
Fr. Bill taught philosophy at the University of Portland from 1971 to 2002. In April of this year he celebrated 61 years of priestly service. He will soon move to South Bend and rejoin the Holy Cross Community at Notre Dame. We are grateful that Fr. Bill will return this week to offer “one more Mass” (Tuesday, June 1 at 11am) and we wish him well at Notre Dame. Please keep him and the Holy Cross Fathers in your prayers.
