Keep us loyal to your Word, independent of our willfulness…
Keep us honest in all our dealings, independent of deceit…
Keep us loyal to what is true, independent of the counterfeit…
Keep us constant in compassion, independent of self-interest…
Keep us loyal to our friends, independent of all jealousy…
Keep us strong in self-awareness, independent of denial…
Keep us humble and forgiving, independent of conceit…
Keep us positive and hopeful, independent of our fears…
Keep us steadfast in our hope, independent of our worries…
Keep us faithful to our prayer, independent of distractions…
Keep us steadfast in our faith, independent of our doubt…
Help us depend upon your love, on your grace, and on your mercy,
in order to free our hearts to live, Lord, independent of all else… Amen.
CHURCH
Charity: Be charitable and think of others.
Hygiene: Wash your hands and protect your health and the health of others.
Understanding: Consider the needs of others first and be patient.
Resourcefulness: Be creative about looking for ways to help others.
Common Sense: Living the Gospel does not demand intelligence, just wisdom.
