Throughout the Bible, the consistent “pattern” of God’s actions is that He saves from one thing, for another. God not only saved us from darkness and chaos, but for light and a renewed order. He not only saved us from sin and death, He saved us for new life in Christ Jesus, for a new creation, for a second (or third, or fourth) chance.
Each day, God pours out fresh grace upon us. Each day, He promises to make us fruitful, to give us power through His grace, and to transform us more and more into His image.
Each day, God proclaims, “Behold, I make all things new.” Even me and you.
