COVID-19 Statement from the Holy Cross Parish Community, August 25

Dear Holy Cross Parish and School Community,

There has been an exposure to COVID-19 at the parish office in the past couple of weeks with a couple of staff members testing positive, including Fr. Mark. Following CDC and OHA protocols, these parish staff members are self-quarantining for 10 days and all parish staff members are encouraged to work from home.  There will not be any meetings or gatherings until the first week of September. If you need something from our parish staff, please email or call rather than come in to the office.

We will still pray our collective Rosary on Wednesday, August 26, at 10 am, but we will do it from our own homes. Please join us to pray the Rosary for Fr. Mark as he readies for surgery and for ongoing strength during this time. Fr. Mark has received a tentative re-schedule date for his surgery on Sept. 17.

Please continue to celebrate virtual Masses each weekend with us! The celebrations are at 5pm Vigil Masses in English (Saturdays) and 12pm Masses in Spanish (Sundays). These Masses will continue to be livestreamed on our YouTube channel:   https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCdI_EkF4dLPnP5y_z6FPFoQ

As a safety note, we continue to encourage everyone to follow all health and safety precautions, including: social distancing, wearing of face coverings, and regular hand washing. We all continue to strive to keep the larger community as healthy as possible, by first encouraging health in our own parish and school families!

Please keep our staff and parishioners in your prayers! We appreciate your support and your care!
